By installing or using Cairbre AI (the "Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Subject to your payment of the applicable one-time license fee (or use within a trial period), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for your own personal or internal business purposes. A Practice license activates the Software for one user on up to 2 machines used by that person. A Firm license covers up to 10 users within one organization.
You may not: (a) resell, rent, lease, or redistribute the Software or your license key; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software's license enforcement; (c) use the Software to develop a directly competing product; (d) remove copyright or attribution notices. Normal interoperability and any rights you have under applicable open-source licenses (see Third-Party Licenses) are not restricted.
The Software runs third-party AI models that you choose to download. Each model is governed by its own license, shown before download. AI-generated output can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it. Output produced with the Software is yours, to the extent we hold any rights in it.
The Software includes a 14-day full-featured trial so you can evaluate it with your own documents before purchase. When the trial ends, AI features pause until a license is activated; your data remains untouched on your device. We may provide updates at our discretion. The auto-update feature downloads updates from our official release channel only; you can disable it in Settings.
The Software processes your data locally on your device — it is designed so that documents, conversations, and dictation are never transmitted to us or any third party, supporting professional confidentiality obligations. This design does not, by itself, guarantee any legal outcome (including preservation of privilege); you remain responsible for compliance with your professional rules. See the Privacy Policy for the short list of situations in which the Software contacts the internet.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
This license terminates automatically if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination you must uninstall the Software. Sections 3, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], USA. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. This is the entire agreement regarding the Software.
